The breakfast brings together church, business, community leaders and people from all spheres of the community to stand and pray for our City. The purpose of the Lord Mayor's Breakfast is to acknowledge God, the power of prayer and to invite the blessing of God over the City of Newcastle and her people. Each year a charitable organization is chosen by the Lord Mayor to be the benficiary of the proceeds of the function.
