We would like to invite you to an exciting musical event marking the passing away of one of the most innovative and cutting edge university music courses in this county. An innocent victim of corporate politics, the Masters of Contemporary Improvisation Course joins other great university music courses in this county that have met similar ends of late. This disturbing trend was recently documented on ABC Ratio National’s ‘Into the Music’.  Come and hear some of the leading performers in Sydney who helped make this course the special experience that it was and lend your voice to the mourning of the continued denigration of Australia’s unique and diverse music culture.

The concert is also a celebration and expression of gratitude to the course founder, the extraordinary musician and scholar Adrian McNeil.
