Workplace bullying can occur wherever people work together and in all types of workplaces. Bullying is a work health and safety issue as it poses risks to the health and safety of workers.
Julia will speak on research commissioned by Safe Work Australia examined psychosocial risk factors in the working Australian population that raised serious concerns regarding levels of bullying and harassment. Safe Work Australia is also working on a number of initiatives arising from the Australian Government's response to the Parliamentary Inquiry report Workplace Bullying: "We just want it to stop".
