Eminent saxophonist and composer Sandy Evans plays her first gig as leader at Foundry616, teaming up with old colleagues Toby Hall of her longstanding trio and pianist Alister Spence , with new addition 2011 JRMA winner, Hannah James on bass.

Amingst her many many achievements and great ensembles, including The Australian Art Orchestra, Ten Part Invention and The catholics, Sandy has an OAM for her contribution to music, several ARIA, APRA and Bell Awards, as well as several stunning original recordings featuring her own compositions.  You can read more on Sandy on her website
