Who is Christina Monneron?
Christina Monneron is an 'accidental' medical scientist who made a major discovery of her true passions not in the lab as one may think, but in Afro-Cuban rhythms while working as a Pharmacologist in Sweden!
This led her on an incredible journey of self-discovery through a deep connection to the spirituality of Cuba, brought to the island by African slaves, the soul of her ancestors.
After almost a year in Cuba, Christina returned home to Australia and introduced the sensuality of the rhythms of Cuba to the people of Melbourne and other parts of Australia & New Zealand, Bali, Malaysia and more recently to the Coffs Coast, where she founded Kulturithmik.
Partner-dances such as Salsa further allowed Christina to develop her teaching methods to inspire both men and women to truly connect to each other as well as to the hypnotic, sensual Cuban music.
Through her entertaining teaching method, full of sound effects, Christina makes you feel at ease while holding the space for all involved to be connected to a greater whole, learning social interaction as well as the dance itself.
