Event Details

This film documents a world first satellite tracking study on Australia's largest predatory bird, the Wedge-tailed Eagle. It is the story of one man's quest to fulfil a boyhood dream, but is also a wildlife film, set largely in the desert of central Western Australia. It aims to showcase this beautiful environment, its creatures, and a unique conservation project being undertaken by the WA Department of Parks & Wildlife.

Doors open at 7:00pm at the evening begins at 7:30pm. A short 5 minute film will be shown at the opening before the main feature, which runs for 1 hour. There will be a short question time at the end, and DVDs of the film will be available on the night. Light refreshments (drinks and nibbles) will be served from 7:00pm.

Tickets are allocated on a 'per seat' basis, but if you have children small enough to fit on your lap they will not be charged extra.
