Reconnect with your talented stranger within

In business today, we are strongly encouraged to be authentic.

It sounds so simple to be authentic, yet - the journey to who we really are is one of our most challenging, as we face the many bumps in the road that can derail us. The Imposter Syndrome is a significant bump for the more than 70% of people in the workforce who have experienced it at some stage.

The Imposter Syndrome refers to a persistent set of beliefs and accompanying feelings that we are ‘not being good enough’ even in the face of evidence to the contrary.  People experiencing this syndrome can feel like a fake or fraud.  They tend to attribute their success to factors other than their own talent, qualities and skills.

Uncertainty, working in environments that regularly bring new challenges, new projects and new opportunities, high levels of competition, vulnerability and the potential for exposure, all trigger the Imposter Syndrome.  That sounds like the everyday challenges of being in business to me!

In this thought provoking and entertaining session, you will:

• Understand the Imposter Syndrome and how it relates to you or others you work and play with

• Recognise the consequences of Imposterhood feelings to you and your business

• Find positives in the situation

• Understand how to reconcile the way you see yourself with how others see you

• Make the changes that reduce your vulnerability and allow you to share your talents with the world.
