Justin Smirk has been described as one of the most sought after Economist in Australia.

A specialist in Macro Finance and how it impacts on you and your business, Justin is the St George Bank's National spokesperson on the global economy, financial markets and local economic conditions. He has worked in financial markets for over ten years and prior to joining St George, Justin worked as a Senior Economist at Westpac and an Economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia.

Justin has not always been an Economist. He had his first taste of small business in his family's businesses as a young man where his Mother and Father ran their own businesses. Back in the 1990s Justin was employed as a Consultant in WA providing advice to owner operators and managing properties for investors.
