DANIELLE DECKARD'S "END OF THE WORLD" TOUR
To celebrate the one year anniversary of the "End Of The World" EP, Danielle Deckard will be hosting a series of intimate performances in Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra, and Melbourne. The coming months will see the release of three music videos for tracks from the EP, and a deluxe "anniversary" edition of the EP with bonus acoustic tracks. Danielle will be accompanied on all tour dates by indie-folk singer/songwriter Rosie Catalano.

This is an 18+ only event.

MORE ABOUT DANIELLE DECKARD
Danielle's endearing style of indie-pop infuses lush melodies with a rich instrumentation of piano, strings, horn sections, synths and even some well-placed banjo to boot. This musicality and creative nuance speaks to Danielle's quality as an accomplished musician and songwriter. A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Danielle is a multi-instrumentalist with an impressive list of accolades and awards to her name. She is a recipient of the ASCAP Bart Howard Songwriting Scholarship, and in 2014 took out the top prize for the Unsigned Only Songwriting Competition. She also received an honourable mention in the International Songwriting Competition—a highly competitive event judged by some guy named Tom Waits, no less.

Danielle's lyrics and exquisite vocals impart dark undertones that act as a counterweight to the brighter pop melodies, reminiscent of Ingrid Michaelson and Sara Bareilles. Like a bouquet of heartache, her music breathes in the blues and exhales a kind of sweet melancholia. Through her lyrics, Danielle neither laments nor shrugs off the pains of heartache and loneliness, and instead imbues a hard-fought resilience with the longing for a sense of herself in the world. By this, Danielle's words are at once deeply personal and universal, unguarded and powerful.

MORE ABOUT ROSIE CATALANO
Armed with clever lyrics, a steel-string guitar, and a rich, multifaceted voice, Rosie presents songs that are written with an emphasis on narrative and character, providing a colourful and engaging quality to her music.

In ’09, Rosie won a song competition offered by indie-pop darlings, Little Birdy. The result was a collaboration with the band on an original song ‘Where Did I Go Wrong?’. Rosie quickly went on to nab herself the coveted ‘Album of the Week’ slot on ABC Radio National, garnering a slew of high rotation radio airplay across the country, as well as securing herself as a finalist for APRA’s Professional Development Award in 2011, the MusicOz Award in 2013 and winning Triple J Unearthed in 2014.
