That Red Head

That Red Head is an extension of Lozz Benson and her love of rockabilly, country and blues music. Driving the band from behind her drum kit, she has a soulful voice that evokes Patsy Cline and Etta James. Throw in a red hot string section of double bass and country infused guitar, and together they bring vintage vibes, rockabilly rhythms and endless energy to the dance floor!

Over the last two years Lozz has played in many outfits including Sirens Big Band, Pat Capocci, Danny C and the Cosmic Tremors, Drummer Queens, The Drey Rollan Band, Urthboy, JHD Revival Band and Professor. Her most recent project was Sessions: an initiative to write and record original material with other artists of whom included Paul Kelly, Jim Moginie (Midnight Oil), Steve Smyth, Sandy Evans, Matt McMahon, Zoe Hauptmann, Chris D’Rozario (Brian Setzer), All Our Exes Live in Texas, and Jeremy Davidson (The Snowdroppers).
