Speaker Profiles:

1.  Rich Harvey, Managing Director and founder of propertybuyer

Rich will present many tips that could propel your knowledge to the next level.  Rich is a licensed buyers’ agent, property investor and professional economist with over 17 years experience in the property industry.  He is a research expert and highly skilled in investment analysis and negotiation techniques that can deliver real savings for his clients. Rich and his team have purchased over $475m worth of property for clients. 

As Australia’s leading Buyers Agent, Rich has won 18 major awards including the prestigious National Telstra Business award in 2007 and also the Award for Excellence in Buyers Agency five years in a row 2004-2010 and in 2009 was named the winner "Best Buyers Agent in Australia" by the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA)..

2.  Ken Raise, Director, Chan and Naylor

Ken is a certified practicing account since 1985 and started in the accounting area in 1981 working primarily for large publicly listed multi nationals with both local and overseas assignments. His responsibilities included the establishment of businesses and trading entities in Australia, Asia, Europe and the Unites States, as well as representing the group to international investors.  After leaving the commercial arena Ken commenced his own company assisting entrepreneurs raise equity including R&D Government Grants. It was during these times that Ken expanded his existing interests in property investing as well as setting up an educational arm to show investors the practical aspects of property investing including feasibility studies, approaching banks and asset protection techniques.

Ken joined Ed and David as a partner in 2004 and is a Director of Chan & Naylor Australia Pty Ltd and created their “Platinum Services” arm that caters for clients with more complicated structures, asset protection and compliance needs. He is passionate about property investing and small business and was primarily involved in creating the Chan & Naylor Property Investor Trust® and the Enduring Family Superannuation FundTM. He maintains an avid interest in property and controls a sizeable property portfolio and is extremely proactive when it comes to increasing and protecting client’s wealth.

Ken has presented at numerous national seminars this year. He has been involved with Morningstar, Universal Events and is regularly called upon as the Expert for various radio interviews and print/online publications

3. Albert Waldron, Partner, Chan & Naylor Finance.

Prior to joining Chan & Naylor Finance, Albert has held various roles within the finance industry, including as an Operations Manager within a large mortgage manager. This was a role that saw him overseeing a group of mortgage brokers, a credit team assessing loan applications and an arrears management team.

Albert is a regular speaker at Chan & Naylor events and keynote speaker at events run by education group The Finance Team. Albert has drawn on his experience and inside knowledge to develop an education series called "Credit Ready" based on the four C's used by lenders to judge a credit applicant and brings the same material to this presentation.
