Somersby Scamper - Cross Country Fun Run

Somersby Public School P&C Association is proud to be hosting this new and exciting Cross Country Fun Run. 

Whether you are young or old, this event is the perfect chance to tackle a true cross country course consisting of Open grass fields, combined with rolling hills and hard packed dirt tracks. Events are being held in the following categories.

Primary School 12 yrs & under Boys & Girls 3km - 9am

Secondary School 18 yrs & under Boys & Girls 4km - 9:30am

Open & Masters 35+ Mens & Womens 4km - 10:15am

All entrants will be be provided with Fresh Fruit and Water at the completion of their race.

This event is perfectly positioned in the calender year for Cross Country running.

Medallions awarded for the winner of each Male and Female race category and participation certificates awarded to all finishers in the Primary School race.

One lucky runner drawn at random will win a runners gift pack thanks to the Coast Runners Shop Killarney Vale.

We are located on the Central Coast only 10 minutes west of Gosford and just 30 minutes north of the start of the M1 at Wahroonga and 40 minutes south of Lake Macquarie. 

We will be selling items from the BBQ for those runners and spectators who are looking for a hot breakfast.

DESPITE THE CURRENT RAIN THE EVENT WILL BE HELD RAIN, HAIL OR SHINE.

Pack some spare clothes and shoes for after the race and fill up on a tasty sausage sandwich before heading on home. See you all on Sunday.
