Understanding the blues is a fundamental to many genres of contemporary singing.

This friendly workshop explores the basics of singing the blues including: phrasing, learning the blues scale and useful riffs. Begin to improvise over the blues form and learn Blues heads such as Centerpiece, Muddy Waters and Stormy Monday. Bring any charts in your preferred key, all other charts and material supplied.
