'Working Toghether in Logan to Support Local Businesses....

Collaboration – with key industry stakeholders to work together to build the Expos through shared promotional actions – through this we reach 30,000 small business owners in each region– with a total reach across 5 expos to 150,000 small business owners.

Generate – to ensure each Expo grows to deliver $2 million in solid leads

Skills Transfer – to deliver pre expo workshops in ”How to sell from a trade table” – generally 3-4 per Expo and an online option will be available too.

Charity – to promote 5 charities per Expo so they can build connections with the small business community and also fundraise

Promotion – to provide a pop up shop one day a year to primarily invisible businesses – homebased, micro, mobile and online and also to identify innovative products and services – new businesses to the media. To also invite all levels of Government to the official opening at each Level so they can engage with the small business community.

Inform – to provide attendees with an information Hub and a Technology Hub so small business owners can get the latest products and services from all levels of Government in a face to face format and undertake activities to ensure they are up to date with compliance, new funding, digital audits, new legislation

Celebration – B2B marketplaces have become annual events for the small business community to celebrate their hard work each year – we include a festive atmosphere with live music and foodtrucks so attendees can come along and network and grab a bite to eat.

Platform – to provide a platform for all small business owners to promote their goods and services from North Brisbane to Tweed businesses with little cost to do so. This is ideal for market research, competitor analysis, sales growth.

These Ambassadors will also be invited to sit on a panel presentation workshop at the Expo. The aim of which is to showcase Logan/Beenleigh’s rich business history, community engagement and future growth opportunities. We do expect media interest in the Ambassadors we select.

The charities selected for this year by several entities and individuals are:

Bravehearts – for their advocacy in child safety

Friends with Dignity for their support of Domestic Violence victims

Script Union for the Chaplaincy – for their support of disadvantaged students at school

Beenleigh Rotary – for their numerous programs – last year they managed the car park and the funds went to purchase ten backpacks filled with essential items for foster children

Logan House Fire Support Network – who do the clean up work AFTER a fire
