Sue’s clients Andrew and Daryl Grant promoting their business on TV
Sue’s clients have generated tens of thousands of dollars from a single TV appearance, had their businesses splashed across the front page of their local newspapers, been featured in national magazines and had media outlets clamouring for exclusives, all thanks to her intimate understanding of the media and her ability to write a ‘killer’ press release.
Who is Sue Gardiner?
Sue Gardiner worked as a journalist in both newspapers and television for over a decade.
She rose to the position of news editor with News Limited Newspapers in Brisbane which meant she wasn’t just a reporter but also played a large role in choosing which stories were run and which were ignored.
After quitting full-time journalism, Sue had no intention of doing the typical journo thing and ‘going over to the dark side’ to become a public relations professional.
But the clients who were hiring her to write their sales and marketing material had other ideas.
They kept pestering her for advice on how to get free publicity and so reluctantly she began dabbling in writing press releases and began enjoying major successes.
It made Sue realise all the insider tips she’d picked up working in the belly of the media beast.
But it also reinforced what she had experienced on a daily basis as a journalist – that there’s a lot of ignorance and naivety in the business community about how the media REALLY works.
PR is not rocket science
Sue now happily runs her own boutique PR agency as well as educates Australian small business owners on how to save money by becoming their own highly successful publicists.
“Free publicity is not rocket science, it’s a matter of discovering how journalists think and giving them what they want,” she says.
Sue was recruited by multi-millionaire Gold Coast based internet entrepreneurs Andrew and Daryl Grant to be the free publicity trainer for their innovative training and networking group for online entrepreneurs - www.OurInternetSecrets.com
Sue wrote and published her first book in conjunction with the Grant’s – ‘Our Internet Secrets: How To Find Financial Freedom On The Internet’ - which became an instant international best-seller.
She also produced the ‘How To Manage The Media For Profit Program’ an education tool on how to attract free publicity for small business people which incorporates DVD/CD training with a range of media insiders PLUS personal coaching from her self.
She is also the author of the innovative www.FreePublicityForProfit.com ecourse which coaches business owners step-by-step in weekly eclasses in how to plan and implement their own successful free publicity campaigns.
