Sarah Humphreys

2012 brings about the next chapter in the little book of Sarah Humphreys, with the release of her much-anticipated second full-length record, Hello, on September 21st. Produced by Matt Fell at The Music Cellar on the NSW Central Coast and Love Hz Studios in Sydney, Hello is a magical and dreamy soundscape full of tenderness and honesty that effortlessly displays the diversity and emotion in Sarah’s songwriting. The first single Like a House Needs a Door is due for release on August 31 and is a sweet, quirky and refreshing journey into the simplicity of love. It’s the first insight into an album of songs that all hold a personality of their own and showcases the authenticity of a woman, a mother and an artist who is being true to her calling in life.

Mark Moldre released his last solo album "The Waiting Room" to high praise from critics across Australia, receiving 4 star reviews. The album, which was produced by Tim Powles (The Church) and Michael Carpenter was described as "a deeply romantic, surreal musical vision" in The Australian and Bernard Zuel of the Sydney Morning Herald says "you get a taste of that dark jauntiness of laughing in the face of death/the ugly world that Mark Everett of the Eels perfected long ago...Pay Attention, close attention. Especially to the lyrics" Rob Hirst of Midnight Oil had this to say: “A beautifully produced album of melancholic melodies; sad, grand, scary. The Waiting Room is a collection of songs hand-crafted by a musician who's lived a lot, seen much, and has written it all down - for his own benefit, and ours. One to keep. 4 stars"
