Bring YOUR FRIENDS - YOUR WINE - YOUR NIBBLES and enjoy the cabaret-style atmosphere at tables of up to ten, while The Honeybees entertain you in a magnificent environment with toe-tapping heartfelt a capella music.
You can look forward to traditional gospel songs as well as modern gospel-inspired numbers which draw on related musical styles such as soul, R & B and jazz, and possibly some "holiday" songs.
Similar to last year, participants of our July 2012 "Gospel Groove" workshop, will join us on stage for a few songs.
For convenient free parking: Enter via stone gate, Anzac Parade, Moore Park, Surry Hills (citybound only - north of Cleveland Street/Land Road intersection).
Proceeds from our 2012 summer concert will be donated to the Sir David Martin Foundation - www.sdmf.org.au
The Sir David Martin Foundation helps to get young people off the streets, away from unhealthy situations and into care and rehabilitation. The SDMF supports particular Mission Australia programs that deliver high levels of care and encouragement, allowing homeless and troubled young people to regain their health, develop a new sense of self belief and turn their lives around. Programs include: Triple Care Farm, Creative Youth Initiative, South West Youth Services.
We invite you to contribute some spare coins/notes to the donation bowl at the door, which will be added to the total donatian we will make to The Sir David Martin Foundation.
