I am a passionate, highly motivated and performance driven digital marketing professional with over 7 years of industry experience and strategic insights. In my current role I use highly developed analytical skills and specialised digital skills to deliver projects that build and strengthen the communication and marketing of major branding for national and international companies.
I have demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage the development and implementation of online, interactive and digital communications. In my current role this has resulted in high customer satisfaction, proven results and significant employee and revenue growth over a 2 year period. To achieve such gains I have effectively consulted with company directors, managers and external stakeholders to formulate and maximise potential digital marketing outcomes including search engine marketing, social media, web analytics, electronic direct mail, customer collaboration portals and the company intranet.
Over my career I have also created a unique set of processes and tools to develop, manage and optimise digital communication projects and strategies. This unique set includes website and digital needs analysis techniques, usability and accessibility benchmarking, digital project management, statistical analysis and digital strategy generation to name a few.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Digital Marketing Manager/Strategist, Peach Advertising
October 2008 – Present
I was employed by Peach in 2008 to establish the digital marketing division, since then the division has grown to be an integral part of the overall agency, delivering a quarter of the agencies revenue and increasing employment to four full time staff as well as numerous part time resources. As Digital Marketing Manager/Strategist I provide strategic insights and direction to existing and potential clients across all aspects of digital marketing including websites, email marketing, social media, online media, search engine marketing and optimisation.
A key aspect of my role is to educate and advise clients on effective digital marketing solutions whilst keeping abreast of and embracing new media and new communication technologies. My role also requires me to scope; design and manage digital projects and agency budgets as well as network and build relationships with clients and external providers to generate new business leads and revenue streams. As part of this process, I regularly attend national conferences and events such as ad-tech, CEBIT and Australian Marketing Institute events. I have also been invited to speak at national level events including AMI education event, Email Marketing Summit of Australia and regularly hold digital marketing seminars for clients and industry representatives.
Some of the clients I currently work with include Downer, NSW State Government, WorkCover NSW, CountryLink, Kloster Group, Panthers Group, and NSW Health.
Senior Analyst Programmer, WorkCover NSW February 2008 – October 2008 As Senior Analyst/Programmer at WorkCover NSW my primary role was to analyse key business requirements with internal and external stakeholders and translate into system specifications. Another key aspect of my role was to scope, plan and manage digital projects ranging from web applications and websites, to intranet management. As a senior developer I also built databases and applications to support internal projects and processes. Senior Analyst Programmer/Project Manager, Redback Solutions February 2005 – February 2008 My role at Redback Solutions involved providing strategic insights and direction to existing and potential clients across all aspects of digital marketing including websites, email marketing, social media, online media, search engine marketing and optimisation. During my time at Redback Solutions I also managed a number of large web application projects, including an online ticketing systems and travel social networking sites.
