Christ Church Camerata now enters its third season, presenting a subscription series at Christ Church Cathedral, Newcastle, and other performances throughout the Hunter Valley. Under the direction of David Banney, the Camerata is comprised of Newcastle's leading professional string players and the most talented and dedicated students from the area. The ensemble has moved quickly to ensure its position at the forefront of musical activity within this city, through its vibrant, fresh and exciting performances and commitment to establishing a long-term professional culture for local musicians.
