About the Presenter:

George Anderberg’s
most recent employment prior to founding The Mathematics Connection was
Regional Mathematics Consultant with the New South Wales Department of
Education and Training.
- His experience
includes teaching Mathematics at all levels from K-12, adult education,
pre service teacher training, distance education and parent training.
- He has worked as a
mathematics teacher in the State, Catholic, Independent, ACT and Colorado State systems.
His expertise is “how
children learn mathematics from K – 10” and he has extensive experience
with Count Me In Too (K-4) and Counting – On (5-8).
- George Anderberg has
over 30 years of experience educating both students and teachers in the
field of mathematics he is well placed to meet the requirements of all
parties within the education environment.
- He holds a BEc, MEd
and is a member of the Australian College of
Educators. He has conducted research at university level into how children
learn mathematics (K-7), has written numerous papers and presented at
local and overseas conferences.

achieve their mathematical potential by making mathematics relevant, fun,
