Miriam Lieberman is a singer songwriter who brings rhythms and melodies of the world to her music. Her explorative approach is complemented by powerful vocals and poignant lyrics as she swaps her self accompaniment between the celestial sounds of kora (21 stringed African harp) and percussive styled guitar. She is joined by her stellar band: Kate Adams on cello, Lara Goodridge on violin, Blair Greenberg on percussion and Simon Olsen on bass. Together they meld upbeat grooves with warm strings and luscious vocal harmonies.

The songs contain a heavy dose of West African feel and a dash of Latin rhythm within folk music roots.
First act: After several years living and performing in the US Keppie coutts returns to home turf to play with long time friend and musical collaborator Nicola Osher.
