Mindfulness Self Care Sanctuary: two days of caring for the carer

Lifeline Newcastle & Hunter is privileged to join with Newcastle-based Clinical Mindfulness Consultant Charlotte Thaarup-Owen to bring us a weekend of rejuvenation with mindfulness.  Charlotte has trained in the Jon Kabat Zinn model of mindfulness called Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), the most researched modality of mindfulness.  She is also a family dispute resolution practitioner.  Her range of training expertise includes The Potential Project (Corporate Based Mindfulness Training), Big Mind (combination of Gestalt, Voice Dialogue and Buddhist Psychology) and has developed Mindful Voice Integration (which further integrates Big Mind with Mindfulness, particular the body focus) Her mindfulness workshops have been endorsed by the Australian Psychological Society, and she conducts mindfulness retreats across Australia, in Thailand and in Indonesia.

During this workshop you will be introduced to mindfulness practices including: body awareness and body scan, breath techniques, techniques for stilling and not getting caught in our inner dialogue/thought-streams, the RAIN technique, as well as Mindful Voice Integration. You will take away tools with life changing benefits.

Fully catered.
