With deeply honest storytelling, lush vocal harmonies and timeless melodies the John & Jane have drawn comparisons to Alison Krauss, James Taylor and Gillian Welch. They combine contemporary influences with old-time/bluegrass instrumentation on violin, banjo and guitar bringing a fresh new sound to the Australian folk scene.

On June 29th the duo will set out on their first interstate tour since the release of Young Minds, which will take them through Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle and surrounding areas incorporating both music venues and house concerts.

On July 6th John & Jane will be playing their one and only public Sydney show at the Newsagency in Marrickville. For this special intimate show they will be joined by two very talented singer/songwriters from NSW: Mandi Jarry and Timothy James Bowen. Mandi Jarry is creating a buzz around Sydney performing catchy melodic songs with a Pop/folk/blues sound that is distinctly her own. Timothy James Bowen, is a writer, a singer and a teller of stories with a heart-breakingly honest and electrifying live show.
