Sydney-based quintet, Alturas are currently recording a new album of their unique style of tango.

In 2013, Alturas released their debut CD to enthusiastic audiences, receiving regular airplay on

ABC Radio National and ABC Classic FM.

Alturas have developed an exciting new repertoire, which takes them further away from

traditional tangos, exploring pieces by Piazzolla, Ziegler and other Argentinean composers as

well as some original tangos by Jane Andino and Greg Gibson.
