This all-star group will be presenting new(ish) melodic compositions from Dave de Vries that will bring a smile to your face and get your toes tapping. Dave was a finalist in the prestigious Wangaratta guitar competition back in 2007 and was our April/May Targeted Performer with his ensemble, The A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. Orchestra.

One of Australia’s most versatile woodwind musicians, Paul Cutlan continues his love affair with strings presenting a set of miniatures and improvisations that combine his clarinets with the lush low strings of three superb improvisers. Expect a set of striking textures, surprising contrasts, intensity and beauty.

What is Jazzgroove?

Jazzgroove is a not for profit organisation presenting high-quality original and improvised music from various jazz related cannons. Our focus is on musicians who are in the early stages of forming a national and international career. Jazzgroove's purpose is to nurture upcoming musicians by allowing a platform and performance opportunity to an established audience through our weekly Tuesday double bill events, marketing/ promotion support while also providing a dialogue and mentorship between past Jazzgroove performers and more experienced musicians.
