ATMA BLU is the newest project by drummer, percussionist and composer, Chris Fields, featuring original compositions and improvisations which explore the traditions of India, Africa, the Caribbean and the Americas. Since it's formation last year, ATMA BLU is fast emerging as one of Sydney's most interesting creative ensembles.

Chris is joined by internationally renowned saxophonist and composer, Sandy Evans; jazz guitar virtuoso and composer, Jeremy Sawkins; ARIA award winning bassist and composer, Michael Galeazzi the incomparable James Greening on trombone, & Afghani Tabla wizard Yama Sarshar on tabla & dholak.
