Using the classic blues trio format as a base, the band delve into their own unique and somewhat dubious brand of music influenced by blues, jazz, world and classical music. The music consists of quirky grooves, catchy melodies, diverse improvisations and always retains a sense of humour. A highly anticipated JG debut!

This trio investigates the farthest reaches of improvisation, staying true to the spontaneity and experimentalism laid down by their blues, jazz, electro-acoustics, noise and industrial rock predecessors. The rawest of emotions are unleashed and transformed into sound. From the minds and hearts that brought you Triosk, Felucca and the Pure Evil Trio.

What is Jazzgroove?

Jazzgroove is a not for profit organisation presenting high-quality original and improvised music from various jazz related cannons. Our focus is on musicians who are in the early stages of forming a national and international career. Jazzgroove's purpose is to nurture upcoming musicians by allowing a platform and performance opportunity to an established audience through our weekly Tuesday double bill events, marketing/ promotion support while also providing a dialogue and mentorship between past Jazzgroove performers and more experienced musicians.
