Best known for her authentic one-woman show 'Take Me As I Am', which Rainee toured Nationally last year, paying homage to the stories and music of Canadian songbird Joni Mitchell, Rainee has just released her debut, self-titled EP. With influences ranging from Jazz to Blues and Folk, it's no wonder you can't put your finger on her unique sound. Her music is accessible without being 4-chord pop; laying focus on subtlety and truthful storytelling through that delicate balance of words, music and humour. Howling and emotive, his sound explores elements of blues, folk and grit. Vocally distraught and lyrically sharp, his songs read like journals, digging up the parts most people try to hide. The debut "Huckleberry Blues" is rife with agony, passion, frustration, love, and at points teeters on the brink of psychosis.
