After a fantastic launch of Originals at 616 on February 2, Foundry616 is thrilled to have this re-birthing of the famous "Bondi Bucket Lounge" back at the club. A platform that puts the spotlight on three up & coming independent artists and the not so up & coming independent artists every month, audiences can expect everything from folk to reggae to ska to spoken word and all that goes on between. 

This is a night for independent artists, some have CDs & some don't. But they're all looking for the same thing - an audience to share their love and to bare their soul.

Original@616 gives the artist a chance to showcase their music or spoken word, to promote their CD; and as a platform to just get out there and start to make connections. Each performer has about 30 mins to express themselves and their amazing music on the stage. 

Singers, songwriters and performers are welcome to play here and to gain some recognition and to promote/sell their CD.  Feel free to contact ORIGINALS to be part of our musical community. You'll hear some foot stompin' delta blues from Mark 'N the Blues - Mark Bishop has played at our Live & Originals a few times and always delivers up a great show.

Whilst Dog The Duke with Glenn Whitehall bring you a more earthy gutsy blues with their garage blues and beats.

The next act we'll announce shortly - our guest will be from the TAFE Sydney Institute via Luke Hendricks..... stay tuned.

Our gorgeous Host for the evening is Katherine Vavahea and as usual, she'll bring the night to a close.

The night kicks off at 7:30 pm with the music ending around 10:30. 

Its $10 at the door (TAFE & JMC students $5 at the door) and all proceeds go to the artists♥
