21st Century Communion is a FREE community event for people of all ages who desire to combine a unique worship experience with traditional communion. This event is designed to create a space where everyone can connect and become closer with God, held on an acre property located in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges.

The day has a couple of hours of expressing worship through music, painting, meditation or walking around the property. The open air music will be lead by Andee Sellman and Paul Worsnop from The Land of Seven Rivers. This unique type of worship is designed to allow space for those who are creative to do painting, drawing, dancing, photographing or whatever else it is that helps them feel closer to God (BYO paints, drawing equipment, etc).

At the conclusion of the worship we will then be treated to a gourmet lunch provided by Steven Klimisch and Doug Robertson using Organic produce from their gardens in the Dandenong's. The organic food prepared will be specifically chosen to represent the season of the event. Special dietary requirements may be catered for upon request (minimum 48 hours notice required). Some soft drinks will be available however you are welcome to bring your own drinks.

As part of the meal a traditional Communion (actual wine for the Adults and cordial for the kids/non alcohol drinking Adults) using a communal Cup will take place, where there will be a space for feedback and sharing about your experience of the day.

Donations towards the cost of the event can be made on the day.

Whether you are new to Stairway or wanting to just be part of something social, come celebrate, be amongst friends and share some delicious food.

Please note: as numbers will be strictly limited only those pre-booked can attend. Car-pooling is encouraged wherever possible.
