The International Farewell Ceremony is a celebratory event for international students completing an Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Research Higher Degree or Study Abroad program at The University of Newcastle  in Semester 1 or Trimester 1, 2015. This event is a chance for you to celebrate your achievements and experiences with your peers, friends, and The University of Newcastle community.

Event highlights include:

• Speeches from past and present UoN students
• Receive a certificate and have your photograph taken with the Chancellor
• Light refreshments and canapes
• Musical entertainment and fun activities
• Professional photographer to capture your farewell moments with friends

We encourage you to get into the spirit of the day by hiring an academic gown. Academic gowns can be hired online through our Academic Dress shop at Callaghan campus for AUD $46.00.
