Laughing Outlaw Records presents Dusty Ravens and De'May.

Dusty Ravens, whose last two shows sold out at Django, will be returning in April supported by enchanting young folk songstress from the steel city streets of Newcastle. Dusty Raven's debut album 'Stories of Love and Death' gives a nod to a few things orbiting close to, and south of the border: Mexican Mariarchi, desert plains country, and snippets of flamenco. They've been described as Johnny Cash meets Tom Waits, but throw in Calexico and you're not far from the mark of their desert plains Mexicali sound. The De'May debut album 'If We Don't Leave Now' was recorded by the serene Hawksbury River in NSW and has had a string of nationwide reviews with the Sydney Morning Herald describing her as having "a whole lot more to offer than standard singer-songwriter fare" as she weaves her way through the tenderness of folk and dirty-grit of blues with ease and a "delightful quirkiness".
