The ever popular duo of Ambre Hammond and Marcello Maio reunite for another sultry evening of music by South American composers Astor Piazzolla (Argentina) and Antônio Carlos Jobim (Brazil).
Classical pianist Ambre and Accordion virtuoso Marcello combine forces as they orchestrate their instruments bringing passion and fire to their own exquisite arrangements of some of Piazzolla's most beloved Tangos from their popular 2012 album release - 'Oblivion'.
And now they also bring the music of Jobim to the mix as they prepare to release their 2nd collaborative album playing arrangements of lesser known yet very beautiful works by this magnificent classical Brazilian composer.
A guaranteed evening of fun banter and heated musical passion from two of Sydney's most fiery musicians - A fun and magical night guaranteed.
“Being such an admirer of Ambre Hammond and a lover of Piazzolla, this music went straight to my heart. Add the passion of Marcello Maio and you have an experience that transcends genre and does what great music can sometimes do - it elevates the listener’s consciousness.”
