Community Events - Make it Happen!

Facilitator: Knox City Council, Arts and Cultural Services team

All the good stuff on how to create engaging, safe and legally compliant events in Knox. This session will be most beneficial for community groups, clubs and not-for-profit organisations that are new to event management, and keen to organise their own event for the first time.

  • How to identify appropriate sites
  • How to register an event and obtain an Event Permit
  • How to develop a creative and engaging program
  • How to work with contractors, suppliers and other communities
  • What support is available to you
  • Industry update and key considerations for event planning during COVID-19 restrictions
