Come and join us at the Biggest & Lushest studio in the Northern Rivers for some amazing workshops with the highly talented Emily Rowlands.

About Emily:

Dancer, bit of a muso, lot of a misfit. Emily has been dancing and studying music from a young age. She has a B.Music from the Brisbane Conservatorium. Bellydance found her in 2007 and she soon became level max bellydance geek by studying Oriental/Egpytian, Tribal Fusion and ATS®. She has a unique perspective on bellydance and likes to break things down into an easily understandable language. She heads fusion and tribal outfit “Dark Nile” with fellow misfit Alice Knox. Emily is an eternal student of this art form and lover of all gorgeousness!!

Zill it! Musicality, technique, improv and much much more. This workshop if for the dancer wanting to improve their zill playing, you'll leave with a new excitement for this instrument! No experience necessary.

Vintage Bellydance: An original choreography made specially for The Barefoot Gypsies. A vintage styled emily fusion choreo to the masterpiece.....Hebbina by Hamouda Ali......use the zill skills from the morning teamed with beautiful hips, flowing movement and general fabulousness. (“Zill it!!” attendance not compulsory but helpful. Zills playing not compulsory. Having fun IS compulsory)

Earlybird prices available till April 4th. Workshops will be 2hrs each. Attend both and then stay for our inaugural Art, Wine & Bellydance night where Emily will cameo performing the vintage choreography!
