Zimbabwean born, Australian grown singer-songwriter Duncan Woods is set to celebrate the release of his latest EP "Chameleon" with an intimate acoustic performance at the Newsagency, supported by Sabrina Soares. Each person through the door will receive a copy of Duncan's brand new EP.

Rhythmic guitar work and quick sharp lyrics are Duncan Woods' bread and butter play,
blending rap and reggae with melodic singer-songwriter styles. Add local singer-songwriter Sabrina Soares' snappy, jazzy vibes to the mix and you're set for a singer-songwriter-kinda night!

Duncan will be accompanied by good friend, friendly neighbour and percussionist Phil King of King Rhythm, featuring songs off the new EP as well as sharing a few even fresher tracks. Catch one of Duncan's last shows before he heads back to Europe for another summer at the end of May.

"Chameleon" is a celebration and coming together of a massive mix of different styles, and represents the way my sound draws from my experiences traveling the world playing wherever the next opportunity took me. Taking in the sights, sounds and smells of all these places and finding a feeling of home wherever I ended up by adapting, learning and listening to the way different people live has shaped the way I write and perform. This EP is the representation of my sound and songwriting that has developed through my years living on the move."
