Welcome to the Limmud FSU Australia

2016 Registration

We are extremely excited to have you on board for the inaugural Limmud FSU retreat in Sydney.

Registration is a quick and simple process and once completed, guarantees yourself and those included in your registration a ticket to the retreat.

Note: Unless attending with a guardian, all Limmud FSU participants must be over the age of 18 years old.

Limmud FSU is coming to Sydney for the first time. It is a day and a half retreat-style event dedicated to Jewish people from a Russian-background in Australia. This event celebrates the culture, traditions, learning and identity of our community.

Every Limmud event is enriched by a diverse array of presenters: leaders in their field and those who simply love their subject. They all have something engaging to say, insights to offer and treasures to give you to take home. There are sessions to delight, engage and challenge - whether you want to study culture, art, Jewish texts, discuss community issues, argue politics or catch some of the best performers in the Jewish world.

When
The retreat is to take place over the weekend Saturday evening 17th September until Sunday 18th September 2016.

Tasks that volunteers may be responsible include: registrations, photography/videography, setting and packing up, child-care, and lots more.

As a volunteer, you will receive all accommodation and meals entitled under registration. You will not be required to volunteer at all times and so you will still be able to participate and enjoy the sessions and activities on offer.

You will be contacted by someone from Limmud FSU Australia to discuss your role as a volunteer in more detail. We offer a lower registration fee for all those who choose to assist. We note that only volunteers will be entitled to a discount rate and not family members.

If you or any other participants wish to volunteer, please select the option in the ticketing section.

Volunteers will be invited to a preparation session and will receive the discount only upon completion of 3-4 hours of volunteering. Limmud FSU Australia reserves the right to request the full price of a ticket if a volunteer does not show for her or his hours.

Volunteer spots are limited, if you wish to purchase a volunteer ticket please firstly contact Shailee Mendelevich for more details and to find out how you can help: shailee@shalom.edu.au
