Get set to immerse yourself into the rich sounds of Eastern European music!!

Under the directorship of the renowned Giga Jeleskovic, the Uzunstein Chamber Orchestra fuses the classical with a haunting Slavic melody and sensual Balkan rhythms - all of which are original compositions penned and performed by Giga and his orchestra.

The orchestra consists of a string quintet ensemble of cello, two violins, mandolin and guitar. Giga has an impressive 30 year career as a composer and performer in Australia and overseas including the opening ceremony for the 2000 Australian Olympics, Stonesleeper for the Sydney Festival 2004 and finalist in the 2005 Austrian Prize for World Music with Jazzwa.
