French chanson in the style of the crooners with the theatrical twist of a unique flute voice extension rivalling the most daring sopranos! Ben has been described as ‘extraordinary and amazing’ for his vocal range. His solo act won best performance at the 2016 Short and Sweet festival. For the release of his recording “BEN NOIR” he will be accompanied superbly by the musicians who played in his cabaret show and on the album.

Ben’s French foray began with a request to sing a French song for his grandfather on Bastille day 14th July 2002. An acrobatic appearance in the Baz Luhrmann film “Moulin Rouge”, living in French speaking Switzerland, and performing in Paris developed his language skills led to the first invitation to an Australian to sing at the 2011 Paris Burlesque Festival. His cabaret show ‘Paris Adventure’ included guest performers flautiste Jane Rutter, dancer Shay Stafford (Moulin Rouge, Paris and vocalist Wendy Lee Taylor (Lido de Paris) among others. It was performed in Melbourne and Sydney!

"A totally unique, stylish and sensual show ..Highly recommended" Paul Capsis

"I loved Ben’s energy during the festival...Can't wait to see … his own solo project" Kate Ceberano Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2014

“ Ben, an entertaining singer… he should take the stage whenever she is off…” John Shand SMH
