Welcome to Sex Nation: two of Brisbane’s most respected sketch comedy institutions coming together for one night only.

Playing as part of Big Fork’s Big Weekend, Sex Nation promises big laughs. After all, Page One once awarded The Sexy Detectives, “Five stars for laughs, two stars for venue” (this venue’s better). Also, apparently BangNation, “causes ruptures of laughter with their manic take on sketch comedy”, warns trusted medical journal Scenestr.

Sure, you may think that their names combined sound like a particularly unsexy dystopian nightmare – but that’s only partially true. Because when the laughs are this constant and the sketch comedy is also this constant, you the audience will no doubt find yourselves in a utopian nirvana dream-state.
