Australian Youth Dance Festival 2017

The Australian Youth Dance Festival (AYDF) is back in 2017, and for the first time ever, the Festival will be held in a major city – Melbourne!

Under the artistic direction of Adam Wheeler, AYDF2017 will be remodelled into three days of intensive masterclasses with some of Australia’s leading dance artists, choreographers and companies, and will premiere excerpts from at least six new works from leading youth contemporary dance companies across the country. 

Join us as we celebrate the vibrant and diverse youth dance sector in Australia. The AYDF brings together young dancers nationwide to share and learn together. forging strong relationships between young people and their future colleagues. The program provides opportunities for collaborations between young people and nationally and internationally respected dance artists and choreographers. Under their guidance, these young dancers will be empowered to be the next generation of leaders and creators. Meet the #AYDF2017 Team.
