With guest artists Eb’n’Flo playing their raw cigar box blues

Sweet Mathilda Waltz is the third single release by psychedelic alt folk duo DATSON HUGHES. To help celebrate this special occasion, they are joined by fellow musicians Eb’n’Flo for a brilliant night of hand made music and song.

Datson Hughes formed in 2008 to perform their all original songs on a range of hand made instruments, especially the appalacian mountain dulcimer. Geoffrey Datson was a member of the 70s Aussie punk Surf Band, Surf Side Six and co-wrote their hit single 'Cool in the Tube'. He then joined Samurai Trash - one of the first OZ bands signed to Virgin in the 80s. In 2000 he formed Stickylabel with artistic collaborator and co-writer Annette Hughes.

From 18 March, Datson Hughes will be touring their recent EP Whispering Highway in the lead up to the release of their fothcoming debut album in late 2017. Go to the website for tour dates.
