Details
Lior is a publicly and critically acclaimed Australian songwriter and performer, and we couldn't be more excited to announce his visit toOnespace HQ! He will be performing both for us and to raise money for The Indigenous Literacy Foundation, so be sure to book in quick as we expect tickets will sell fast!
While comparisons could be made to Jeff Buckley and Rufus Wainright, it'sLior's rich, powerful voice and gentle and dexterous guitar playing that creates his unique tonal blend, with hints of Middle Eastern influences expressed in soaring falsettos and serpentine melodies.
Lior is one of the most successful independent artist debutants in Australian music history; a platinum selling album, winner of two ARIAs (Australian Record Industry Awards) and nominated a further 6 times, as well as being nominated for Triple J's Australian Album of the Year. On television, he has won the APRA (Australian Performing Rights Authority) Screen award for ‘Best Original Song Composed for Screen.’
A gifted writer, performer, and entertainer, with a self-assured countenance, he is equally mesmerizing in an intimate setting as he is in front of and mixed into the wall of sound of a live band on a concert stage or the subtle and powerful dynamics of a symphony orchestra setting.
