OVERVIEW

Highly-effective leaders have a different set of skills and insights to their technical and professional skills and experience. They have “executive presence,” that is, they know how to be viewed positively as confident communicators and active contributors within various situations and forums of their organisations. They are 'top of mind' when the time comes to being promoted to a more senior role.

The Executive Presence for Women Workshop is stimulating, interactive and practical. It equips managers and senior professionals with the leadership communication skills that enable them to be poised and confident at senior levels of their organisation and externally.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Executive Presence for Women is an inspiring small group learning experience that has been tailored to inform and motivate emerging women leaders on how to build their executive presence and gain greater visibility, credibility and self-confidence.  The Workshop is expertly facilitated over half a day and covers the following topics:

Module 1: Managing Perceptions

  • The Three Dimensions of Executive Presence
  • Managing Others’ Perceptions Effectively and Well
  • Clarifying the Key Messages You Wish to Project and How
  • The 5 Major Strategies for Building Executive Presence
  • Practical Ways to Apply the 5 Strategies at Work

Module 2: Developing Your Executive Presence

  • Building Social Capital and Extending Influence
  • Gaining Recognition for your Achievements
  • How to Interact Confidently at Executive Levels
  • Anticipating and Overcoming Barriers
  • Developing a Personal Action Plan
