Chad Wilkins:
Mystic Minstrel, Chad Wilkins, is an American/Australian singer-songwriter bringing heart-songs that reveal a better way for a generation in transitional times on our planet! From his lively, progressive grooves, to his deeply prayerful chants, spanning many genres, Chad’s rootsy folk anthems carry themes of love, gratitude, risk, honour, and pure vibrant LIFE(!) – giving voice to our cry for spiritual transformation, harmony with the Earth, and hope for a bright future.

Touring extensively, Chad’s performance style is unique and spontaneous – whether performing solo, with his full band or anywhere in between, he guides his listeners through an interactive journey ranging from dancing celebration to mindful meditation to sing-along declarations.

Chad released his first full-length album “Show Us The Way Of The Heart” in 2014, and in 2015 his most recent release “This New Ancient Paradigm”, featuring the single “Live Love”.

Tenzin Choegyal:
Born to a nomad family in Tibet, Tenzin Choegyal grew up in the refugee community in northern India after his family fled intolerable repression in Tibet in the early 1970s. Tenzin feels a particular connection to the music of the wandering people of his homeland and recalls his father’s mastery of the Lingbu (bamboo flute) and his mother’s beautiful singing voice. He attributes much of his musical passion to those early influences. Although poor and separated from family, his memories of living at the Tibetan Children’s Village school in Dharamsala are happy ones full of music. After moving to Australia in 1997 Tenzin found his musical wings and quickly became popular on the festival circuit, playing regularly at WOMAD and Woodford Folk Festivals.

Tenzin Choegyal has collaborated with many notable musicians both in Australia and abroad, has released five albums and is Creative Director of the acclaimed Festival of Tibet in Brisbane, Australia. With his extraordinary soaring vocal ability and skill on the Dranyen (Tibetan lute) and Lingbu, Tenzin creates original compositions which uniquely reflect his cultural lineage.

Through the Festival of Tibet, the Women with Wisdom concert series and home concerts throughout Australia, Tenzin Choegyal raises much-needed funds for the Tibetan Children’s Village schools in India which care for and educate thousands of children living in exile. The plight of his country and his people is Tenzin’s prime motivation for his artistic and fundraising ventures.

Tenzin Choegyal’s much anticipated latest album, Heart Strings has been received well.
