Adhyayanam is the process of learning to chant in the traditional aural teaching way, which involves listening with full and focussed attention and being able to reproduce accurately what is heard. This is powerful in establishing a firm foundation from which to teach, and to refine listening skills, strengthen memory, and develop concentration (dharana). Through chanting, we experience Yoga. |
