Sunday Swing - Beginner Lindy Hop workshop

Our Sunday session is designed to teach you the basics of swing dancing in an afternoon. No partner or experience is required and all are welcome! We'll be focusing on Lindy Hop which is one of the most popular forms of swing dancing and can be found all over the world.

TICKET TYPES: WHAT IS A FOLLOW AND A LEAD? WHICH ONE SHOULD I CHOOSE?

There are two roles in swing dancing: follow and lead. Both are equally important, challenging, and fun. We like to describe the roles like this: the follow is driving the car, and the lead is holding the map. The lead will tell the follow “there’s a left turn ahead” and the follow chooses how to execute that turn, or whether to turn the car at all. You can choose whichever role you like. If you still aren’t sure that’s no problem – you can sign up as “undecided” and choose when you get to class.
