DIRECT FROM SPAIN - FLAMENCO SHOW - Passionate and exhilarating, Inertia is a culturally rich multidisciplined work based on the foundations of Folkloric, Danza Espanola and Flamenco dance and music.

The work draws attention to how we, as unique individuals, remain in an unchanged state, traveling on a trajectory that relies on our personal direction, choice, and existence. However, decisions, causal, and circumstance intercept our lives, thus taking us seemingly off course, yet beautifully coincidental; often unaware of the redirection, or alteration to our state of motion.

Inertia, though drenched in Spanish tradition, forms a contemporary collective by Spanish artists Aitor Hernandez de Madrid (former dancer of the Ballet Nacional de Spain), Jesus Olmedo de Madrid (Conservatory de Madrid) and Marina Tamayo de Sydney (trained by the gypsies of Granada) supported by Guitarist Tony Tonks de London and percussionist Peter Kennard de Sydney and vocalist Rut Santamaria de Madrid.

There is no interval. Show time is 1 hour.

Spanish & Flamenco Dance, Percussion, Guitar and Singing workshops for all the public will be offered on Sunday 14th at 10.30am - 2 pm for absolute beginners to the seasoned dancer, singer, musician. The sessions are conducted by the artists.  If you wish to observe any of the sessions, you can book a seat and see all the magic. See link for registration
