Colin Driscoll, Gary Fogarty and Errol Gray, three of Australia’s most highly regarded bush poets, will be in Busselton performing for the South West Bush Poets’ Festival from the 30th April to 6th May. The Bush Poetry Community Workshop evening at the Busselton Mens Shed on Wednesday 3rd May is a unique opportunity to gain some bush poetry tips from two of the best Australian Bush Poets in the business! This is an opportunity not to be missed if you enjoy bush poetry and the art of storytelling, and wish to write or perform your own poetry.

Colin Driscoll is a Bush Poet from country Victoria, and winner of the Golden Damper Poetry Award at Tamworth in 2009. Gary Fogarty has performed widely across Australia and in 2010, he represented Australia by competing at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood, where he was awarded a bronze medal. Errol Gray is a bush poet and balladeer, and he mixes poetry with song in a very entertaining form.

South West Odyssey Events, a not-for-profit association, has organised the Festival. For more information on the Festival or on this workshop, please call Cathy or Neil on 9753 1394
