The Steve McQueens refuse to be pedestrian; they don’t live in the transient or the touch-and-go. Swerving between cool seduction and gripping magnetism, they aim to light the world up with their brand of self-styled neo-vintage soul-funk.

The band was formed in 2013 as a forging of mercurial talents – Ginny Bloop (vocals), Joshua Wan (keyboards), Jase Sng (bass) and Aaron James Lee (drums) in Singapore.
With the release of their second album Seamonster, produced by Incognito founder Jean-Paul “Bluey” Maunick, The Steve McQueens are set to leave their indomitable mark on the music world.

They have played to glowing praise at festivals like Japan’s iconic Summersonic, Indonesia’s Java Jazz, Singapore’s Singjazz and London’s O2 Indigo.

On their 2017 Australian tour, The Steve McQueens will be playing music from their new album project, set to be released in the second half of the year. They will also feature songs from their breakout album Seamonster. Joining the band on the 2017 tour is one of Singapore’s most exciting jazz guitarists, Andrew Lim, who will add his electric yet intricate musical voice to SMQ.
